About Us

Remember when every car out there didn’t look like every other car out there? As kids on long road trips with our family, we would start out with a checklist of car-makers and the first one to see at least one of each type of car would win. Back then, American cars were the undisputed Kings of the Road and you knew from far away whether you were seeing a Desoto or a Hudson or a Packard.

Most everyone remembers their childhood family car; family driving vacations; that first really cool sports car they ever saw and drooled over; the car they learned to drive in and others from our past that we just feel connected to.

The automobile has been around for well over 100 years and is at the heart of our own personal experiences.

Our mission at the Tucson Auto Museum is to showcase the very old (our Model T is almost 110 years old), the iconic (hard not to fall in love with our mid-century classic Cadillacs, Desotos, and Packards), the sporty (picture yourself behind the wheel of one of our classic Corvettes, Thunderbirds, or Mustangs), the unique (ever see a car with just one door—and it is in the front?!) and more. You can even go Back to the Future in our shiny, stainless steel Deloreon. Are you a fan of Batman? Come check out our bat cave with 3 iconic vehicles from Batman Returns.

We always have between 65-75 classic, iconic and unique autos inside our 20,000+ square foot facility—plus lots of interesting automobilia like signs and gas pumps from yesteryear.

This is a “living” museum; all of our cars run and are roadworthy. We take them out to shows regularly. Bring your family and your camera and join us for some interesting and fun times!
