1981 Delorean

Description

This Delorean presents nicely and is in original condition. The brushed stainless steel exterior is in wonderful condition and only shows very few imperfections such as three small dings on the hood. Both gullwing doors open easily and look great. This car is definitely going to attract attention anywhere you go with it’s unique looks and place in pop culture!

Inside, the interior is in fantastic shape! This Delorean may actually have the best preserved interior we’ve seen! The black leather seats are in amazing shape, showing minimal wear, if any, on either seat. The door panels do show a little bit of wear but still show very well. The gray headliner and carpet look excellent! The carpet is protected by the original factory floormats that look awesome. The black dashboard is in great shape and shows a small crack on the passenger side right above the glove box. The dash houses an original set of DMC gauges and an AM/FM/Cassette stereo. There are power locks, windows and mirrors on this DMC12.

Under the rear bonnet, the car is powered by a rear mounted PRV (Peugeot-Renault-Volvo) 2.85 liter V6. The engine sits snug in a tidy and nicely detailed engine bay. Mated to the engine is a 5-speed manual transmission, making this Delorean a BLAST to drive! It is also equipped with factory air conditioning. The car sits upon a set of 14″ DMC wheels wrapped in P195/60R14 tires that look great!
